Off to Oxford
| Tom and Erika in Tucson for Ben and Anne's wedding (and the trip Tom proposed on) |
Today we traveled to Oxford. In the morning Jane and Granny went to Kingston on the bus to go shopping. While I stayed at Granny's doing some drafting work for Hector. When they returned we drove to Sainsbury's to pick up some groceries for Granny and ourselves. While there, we gassed up the car in preparation for the drive. Around 6:30 we headed for Tom and Erika's house, which is about an hour and a half away.
Tom, Jane's oldest cousin, and his soon to be wife Erika, are part of the inspiration for our trip. Our initial plan had been to head to Costa Rica for six months or so, but when they announced that their wedding was in Budapest (Erika is Hungarian), we decided to delay Costa Rica and do some traveling first. We can't think of a better way to celebrate one of our favorite couples, than with a huge contingency of family invading Budapest.
